		<description>Eth0 would typically be behind the firewall, with a NAT and a port forward. One could also use SSH to create a tunnel, or something like OpenVPN. I would not place Eth0 directly on the public interface - but in the case of a small branch office I would definitely consider the firewall/NAT port forwarding option.

		<description>This a nice solution, and is cost effective in branches where you pay for singles rack unit in common rooms datacenter.

But what about Eth0, that you use for remote management of ESX: is that port on a public IP address without firewall? this can be a security issue, isn&#039;t it?</description>

		<description>We&#039;re using including dotdefender as a web application server that protect our servers from sql injection, cross site scripting, DOS and many other attacks 
I did work with hardware solution but got to say that the implementation is a bit too costly by money and time involve.
